Shipping & Returns

Dispatch

Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM CT on a business day are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff, at weekends, or on public holidays are dispatched the next business day.

Every shipment is tracked. Tracking details are sent when the parcel is handed to the carrier, not when the order is confirmed, so the two are usually a few hours apart.

Shipping cost

Free on orders over $250. Below that threshold, cost is calculated at confirmation based on destination and weight.

Packaging

Outer packaging is plain and unmarked. There are no product names, no compound names and no indication of contents on the exterior. The return address is a generic business address, and the billing descriptor is non-descriptive.

Vials ship in protective packaging appropriate to the material. Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperature for the duration of normal transit; where a product genuinely requires cold chain, it is shipped accordingly and this is stated on the product page.

Receiving a shipment

Inspect on arrival, before the vial goes into storage:

  • The crimp seal should be intact and the stopper fully seated
  • The lyophilized cake should be uniform, not collapsed, melted or discoloured
  • The lot number on the vial should match the certificate supplied

Photograph anything unexpected before opening the vial. Once a vial is opened, distinguishing a shipping problem from a handling problem becomes difficult for everyone involved.

Damage and fulfilment errors

Report transit damage or an incorrect item within 72 hours of delivery, with photographs. We replace the affected item at no cost, including shipping. There is no restocking charge and no requirement to return a damaged vial.

Returns

Research materials cannot be returned once dispatched, and this is not a commercial preference. A vial that has left our control has an unknown storage history, and material with an unknown storage history cannot be released again against our specification. Accepting it back into stock would mean shipping a vial whose certificate no longer describes what is in it.

The exceptions, all covered above, are damage in transit, an incorrect item shipped, and material that fails to meet its published specification.

Unopened lab supplies and apparel may be returned within 30 days in original condition.

Out-of-specification material

If material does not meet the specification published on its Certificate of Analysis, we replace it or refund it in full, and we investigate the lot. Send the lot number and the basis of the finding — an independent analysis, a chromatogram, or a clear description of the discrepancy.

Address accuracy

We ship to the address supplied at confirmation. Changes are possible before dispatch; after handover to the carrier, redirection depends on the carrier’s own process and is not guaranteed.

Restrictions

We ship only where these materials may lawfully be supplied for laboratory research use. Purchasers are responsible for compliance with the law applicable at the destination, including import requirements.
